Apple Tips:
To prevent sliced apples from turning brown, soak them in a mixture of lemon juice and water before using. This will help preserve their color and freshness.
To make homemade apple chips, thinly slice apples and bake them in a single layer at a low temperature (around 200-225°F) for about an hour, flipping them halfway through. This is a healthier and more delicious alternative to store-bought chips.
Don't throw away apple peels! They are packed with nutrients and can be used to make homemade apple peel tea or added to smoothies for an extra boost of fiber.
To make a quick and easy breakfast, top oatmeal or yogurt with diced apples, nuts, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. This is a nutritious and satisfying way to start your day.
