🤔 Answer to Today’s Trivia Question
Cookies are called cookies, when we don’t cook them, most likely because the Dutch did not have a word for “baked.” Cookies were brought to the New World in the 1620s. The Dutch name, for one of their most popular treats, was “Koekje” and was eventually changed to cookie.
